Petzl Meteor provides a type of top-of-the-range protection that involves the entire head, called Top and Side Protection.

Thanks to this revolutionary In-Mold construction, consisting of an external polycarbonate shell and an internal EPS foam shell, Meteor guarantees the user total protection against rock falls from above and from side impacts. Meteor absorbs the energy of an impact from above, from the side to the front.

Meteor can be the right choice for a ski mountaineer and is classified as the first CE certified ski mountaineering helmet.

With Meteor you can use a ski mask, thanks to the specific front design of the helmet, the back elastic is instead compatible with the bands of ski goggles.

You can attach a headlamp thanks to the two front hooks and the rear elastic.
